Explore Equity enters into partnership with TheVIT

Explore Equity (Explore) partners with the owners of TheVIT, a Norwegian challenger within business performance & support services and solutions in the finance and HR areas.

The segments in which TheVIT operates are underpinned by several structural tailwinds, including digitalization, automation and increasing financial and non-financial reporting requirements. In particular, business intelligence services and solutions are expected to see strong growth going forward.

TheVIT was founded in 2015 by Stein-Ragnar Noreng, former Head of KPMG Norway who also served at the Board of KPMG EMEA and KPMG’s Global Council during his tenure at KPMG.

The partnership marks Explore’s fifth platform investment to date. It further demonstrates the partnership approach where Explore invests in leading growth companies together with existing owners. The transaction was initiated by Explore, and the parties have jointly developed the Value Creation Plan exclusively.

Explore continues to leverage competence within fast growing Nordic Business to Business professional services firms. Explore will support an ambitious organic and structural growth agenda together with TheVIT management. Entering the partnership, TheVIT is already in dialogue with multiple potential add-on candidates.
